This is the privacy statement (herein after: the “Privacy Statement” or “Statement”) of nv Mannequins Bonami, with registered office Léon Bekaertlaan 26, 9880 Aalter (Belgium) and with company number 0431.639.805 (herein after: “Bonami” or “We”).

Through this Privacy Statement, We would like to inform you as transparently as possible about the way We collect and process your personal data. This Statement relates to both our online and offline collection of personal data, including the data we gather through our different channels, such as our customer service, points of sale, website, external social networks and events. This Statement applies to all relationships between us on one hand, and our customers, suppliers, partners, prospects on the other hand.   

We invite you to read this Privacy Statement carefully, together with our general terms and other conditions that could be applicable to our products and services. We reserve the right to change this Statement, for instance within the context of changes to our products or services, or to comply with new legislation (infra 8). Therefore, we recommend to consult this Statement regularly. 

1. Controller and obligations

The controller of your personal data is nv Mannequins Bonami.

As we consider your privacy to be one of your most fundamental rights, we try to protect it as much as possible. We act in accordance with the Regulation of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (herein after: the “Regulation”) and with this Privacy Statement.

2. Sources

We collect and process both data that you have provided to us and that We have obtained in another way, for instance via a public source. Moreover, Bonami uses cookies for its website.

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device. Cookies allow us amongst others to store and reuse your preferences, settings, login information, security, ads etc. for a next visit. Bonami uses functional cookies (for instance to remember your choice of language) and cookies for analytical purposes. These cookies do not collect personal data and are thus not connected to an individual. Every browser contains tools to read, block or to remove cookies. Switching off these cookies can have effects on the ease of use of this website. 

3. Personal data

Depending on how you communicate with Bonami (online, offline, on the phone, etc.), we collect different categories of information, like your contact information, financial and payment information, information about the use of our website/communication.

These personal data can relate to your capacity as a client or supplier of Bonami.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process your personal data with the purpose of managing our general and financial administration, of providing a correct service and of performing our agreements. In addition, your data are being used for promotional and direct marketing activities. For example, to inform you about new products or to provide you with general updates. If you do not longer want to receive this informative communication, please hit “Unsubscribe”. Your mail address will then be erased and you will no longer receive any automatic e-mails from us until you subscribe again.

To that end, we rely on the legal grounds stipulated in Article 6.1 of the Regulation. More specifically, we rely on your consent, on the strict necessity of processing your data for the correct execution of our agreements, on the compliance with our legal obligations, and on our legitimate interests.  

5. Access

Only a limited amount of people, like our employees and freelancers, have access to your personal data. To guarantee the protection of your personal data, they are subject to a series of (contractual) obligations. All our employees and freelancers are bound by a confidentiality agreement.

In addition, we collaborate with a few third-party service providers, like the developer of our website, with whom we share to your personal data a limited extent in order to process them. We have taken the necessary measures to ensure that these service providers only process your personal data for the purposes and to the extent as agreed upon, and that they respect and guarantee the confidentiality of your personal data.   

In case one of these service providers is located outside the European Economic Area, We will only hand over your personal data when the service provider provides sufficient guarantees to safeguard and protect your personal data.

Finally, we do not provide your personal data to third parties for commercial and/or promotional purposes, unless you have given your explicit consent thereto.

 6. Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to correctly provide our services or as long as we have a legitimate interest in keeping your personal data.

The Regulation provides you with several rights relating to the protection of your data. At any moment in time, you can ask: 

  • to obtain access to your personal data (right of access): you have the right to access the data that we possess about you free of charge and to explore the purposes for which your data are being used;
  • to rectify your data (right to rectification): you have the right to ask to rectify your data and to complete your data;
  • to erase your data (right to erasure): if you suspect that We do not correctly process some of your personal data, you can ask to erase these from our database. We can refuse this request in case these data are necessary to comply with a legal obligation, to perform a contract or because of a legitimate interest;    
  • to have your data transmitted (right to data portability): you have the right to ask that the data that you have provided to us, be transmitted to you or to a third party.Within the circumstances and under the conditions determined by the Regulation, you also have the right:
  • to restrict the processing of your data (right to restriction of processing);
  • to object against the processing of your personal data based on a legitimate ground (right to object). We would like to point out that no objection is possible against the processing of personal data that are necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to perform our agreements or based on our legitimate interests.

Furthermore, for processing based on your consent, We repeat that you can withdraw your consent at any time. 

If you want to exercise one of these rights, you can address a request to info@bonami.be. To correctly handle your request, We ask you to be as specific as possible when writing your request. In addition, we ask to attach a copy of the front and back page of your ID to your request. We require this to avoid any illegitimate publication or processing of your personal data

8. Changes to this Privacy Statement

We retain the right to make any changes to this Privacy Statement.

Therefore, we recommend to consult this Statement regularly, so you remain up to date with our latest changes
